Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actress
from the US. She is most well-known for her appearances on American daytime TV,
episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer was presented
with the Daytime Emmy Award by CBS in 1995, for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo,
the role she played in the soap-opera General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been
her role in CBS's soap drama The Bold and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was
the daughter of Susan Sofer (a psychologist professor) and Martin Sofer (a
Conservative rabbi). After the divorce of her parents and her family moved to
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1970, Sofer emigrated with her brother David and
her father to Teaneck in New Jersey. But, by the time Sofer was five years old,
they resided in Western Pennsylvania. They were brought up in Ambridge,
Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. In the following
years, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is
coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North
Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the rabbi at Temple Beth El. After finishing
her studies at North Bergen High School she went to Montclair State College.
Sofer first appeared as Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. Her first appearance
was in 1993 as a band manager. Her first television role was that of Rocky
McKenzie, a daytime soap hosting host. Perhaps her most well-known role is that
of Lois Cerullo, a nurse on General Hospital from December 15 from 1993 until
September 24 in 1996. Later , she was back on the series as a guest-star
(February 7 1997 to September 30 September 30, 1997 October 2, 1997 October
2nd, 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting
Actress on the Drama Series for her portrayal of Lois. Sofer joined CBS's soap
opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller, a role she created just. The
premiere episode premiered in July 2013. Sofer has been a supporting cast
member or guest star in a variety of primetime high-profile television shows,
such as Seinfeld and Melrose Place. Her first episode aired on July 12.
