Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010, she appeared as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! Between 2009 and 2010, she played in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution from 2009-2010. It was a post-apocalyptic science- series. She was nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was her role on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has starred in the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos, who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two siblings. After she was born, her family moved to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is deeply connected to her Greek heritage and can speak fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. Later, she went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She landed her first TV gig within a few days, a small part on Supernatural. She continued her television work by playing walk-on characters in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin and the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean, the werewolf. In 2009, the actress was awarded her first role as a starring character in Majority Rules! Canada, in which she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her debut as a feature film in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes as well as filmed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, which featured her alongside Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos was seen as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. The character of Charlotte Matheson, a survivalist living in a dystopian civilisation, was her role in the NBC TV show Revolution. As she attended her first pilot season, she auditioned for the role. Spiridakos shot her pilot in Atlanta. The pilot season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance in the debut season of the series nominated her for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. She was, however, a loser to Anna Torv from Fringe's. Production was moved to Austin, Texas for the series' second season.
