Noureen DeWulf

  Noureen DeWulf (nee Ahmed) is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her roles in films such as West Bank Story (2005), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), and The Back-up Plan (2010). She was also on the show as Lacey on the sitcom Anger Management (2012-2014). DeWulf was Noureen Ahmed the daughter of Gujarati Indian parents in Pune, Maharashtra. She was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. There are two sisters older than her. Aziza, her older sister is a Boston-based Professor of law at Northeastern University. Sara, her younger sister is an San Francisco lawyer. DeWulf was an Boston University student and studied theatre and international relations. After graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She speaks fluently in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf began her acting career in the Academy Award-winning short film West Bank Story. She was Fatima, a dancing and singing Palestinian cashier who is smitten by an Israeli soldier. The actress has been in comedy television and film since. She was on Outsourced on NBC, Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne, and MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berber. DeWulf was also a recurring role in Lifetime's miniseries Maneater. She starred with Matthew McConaughey as the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009). She also appeared alongside Jeremy Piven on The Goods: Sell Hard, Live Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) was her first film. It premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2010. She was the lead actress in The Taqwacores (2010) which debuted at Sundance Film Festival in 2010.
