Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress. After her Broadway debut as Rita in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss in 1990 (for which she received an Tony Award nomination), Parker gained notoriety for film roles in Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), The Client (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), A Place for Annie (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). Among stage and independent film performances thereafter, Parker received the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in Catherine Llewellyn in David Auburn's Proof in addition to other awards. Between 2001 and 2006, she appeared in the role of Amy Gardner in the NBC television show The West Wing, for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2002. Her performance as Harper Pitt in HBO's acclaimed miniseries Angels in America in 2002 was rewarded with an award of a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a Golden Globe. In 2006, Parker won the Golden Globe Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated to the Primetime Emmy Award. (2013) and Red 2 (2013). Parker returned to Broadway to play the lead role in The Sound Inside in 2019 and won her second Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine, and also published her memoir, Dear Mr. You, in 2015. She starred in the ABC miniseries"When We Rise, as Roma Guy. In 2018, she starred as a political adviser on the show Billions on Showtime.

Yvonne Joyce Craig, May 16 1937 from May 16, 1937 until August 17, 2015.
