Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on November 25 1968 is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her character on Law & Order in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She also appeared in films such as RoboCop 3 (most wanted) and Crossing Jordan (which she also wrote and directed). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father was a marketing and meat sales and marketing executive. The job required significant travel , which meant the family was required to relocate frequently. The mother of her child, Maxine, a secretary who left the family in 1982 and left her daughter to be raised by her maternal grandmother, Eleanor who lives in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline Hennessy is her identical twin sister. Jacqueline is a journalist in Canada. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish, and Italian heritage from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy and her sister were first actors when they appeared as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, has stated that she was chosen for The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. She portrayed the role for three seasons, before leaving the series as an actor in 1996.
